TO UPDATE TO THE LATEST VERSION YOU CAN USE VNISH ONLINE UPDATER (VOU), THE UTILITY SCAN YOUR NETWORK, DETERMINES THE MINER MODEL AND INSTALLATION TYPE AND AUTOMATICALLY UPDATES YOUR VERSION TO THE LATEST
Installing the firmware is possible via an SD card and without an SD card directly into the NAND miner using the utility HASHCORE TOOLKIT.
To install the firmware, use an SD card (no more than 16 GB, FAT 32).
Download the SD file for your control board version and ASIC model, unpack and read installation instructions.
Standard types of control boards: SD slot on the outside (Xilinx version), SD slot located inside on the control board (beagle bone BB version), only micro usb slot located on the outside (Amlogic version), CVitek (SD slot on the outside) see file: types of control boards
⚠️ATTENTION: Check the stock firmware date. Which stock firmware versions can VNISH be installed on using toolkit:
February 2024 and Below and from December 2024 and newer.
Which stock firmware versions CANNOT be installed on VNISH:
March-November 2024 inclusive and from September 2025 and newer.
September 2025 and later (Slot SD card is blocked on stock firmware from this version onwards)
if you have BITMAIN firmware from March 2024 till december 2024 and you cant find stock update file before september 2025 you can downgrade the stock firmware date using recovery image for your model and control type, download: https://vnish-firmware.com/bitmain-firmware-stock/

NAND INSTALLATION WITHOUT USING SD CARD, OTG ADAPTER:
Download firmware from the Method NAND section Download install for your miner model and control board. Installation is possible only with the help of the utility HASHCORE TOOLKIT. Download the utility and read the installation instructions.
If you do not know what control board is installed on your miner, we recommend downloading HASHCORE TOOLKIT (Windows) + firmware set. The utility will determine the miner model and type of control board, and install the firmware.
After rebooting the miner with the control board CVitek with vnish firmware the stock firmware will return, you need to scan the network where the miner is located using HASHCORE TOOLKIT or use phoenix-scanner in the background and the Vnish firmware will be restored automatically
